Just to say thanks to everyone that turned out today and helped with the races. It went really well and we have had some great feedback. It's good to see the club working together to promote such good races.
Talking of the races well done to Jonny who got 6th this morning, another excellent ride.
Hard lines to Andy R who had a chain breakage incident this afternoon, it must be the incredible wattage that he produces when he winds things up. I was on his wheel for a couple of laps and I thought my ears were going to bleed. Could be he melted the chain.
thanks again to Dinnington RC, be proud!
hope to see people at the meeting on Tuesday night.

Sorry about your ears Ian I was pretty gutted with the way things went yesterday afternoon. I felt good & was revved up for the race. The plan was to try to break away with 2 or 3 to go. Didn't quite work out like that in practice! Dave has had the bike today & fitted it with a Campag' chain. Here's hoping it's stronger than the KMC item that had me bail out on the 8th. Mustn't grumble too much as I've had a pretty decent year so far & I've still got a couple of races to get stuck into. It's the Doncaster Wheelers Autumn RR on the 19th & The Eagle on October 3rd. Providing nothing drops off or snaps I should do alright...is that me making plans again?? Take care folks... Andy.
