A Group
Another great evening for Dinnington with at least 6/7 of us in the top ten (I think as i was giving it maximum effort as i crossed the line). No breaks this week, although a few of us did try, most noticeably Keith, myself, Alan, Richard & Scott.
This resulted in a bit of a steady race as we stayed as a group for all 5 laps and it wasn't until Richard decided he would try and do a Cancellara just before we turned into the final straight that things started to get exciting. I must say that it was a fine effort from Richard who grabbed a third and if he carry's on like this a first place can't be to far away.
Cameron as usual was flying and got another top ten, John grabbed a fourth, Scott was top five and as i said earlier Richard was 3rd i managed somewhere between 6th and 9th. Apologies if i have missed anybody out as i said i was dying as i crossed the line.
I have attached a photo of the lads from the car park after the race, as you can see Richard seems more than happy with his third place!!

Well done to Jordan (now renamed 'Cav') on a great win, i know you have been working hard recently and you deserved it. Ian as usual put in a sterling effort by all accounts and even though you did try to kill me in the Derbyshire hills last Sunday a well done to you as well.
Please can one of you update us with how your group went on.
Next week i am on marshaling duties so look forward to finally being able to watch how it should be done.
Look forward to hopefully seeing you all on Sunday at the Tom Simpson and best of luck to all the Dinnington riders in the two races. I will be driving the commissioners car so if you need me to look after any kit etc just let me know.
